COVID-19 Policy

Our Business Continuity Plan has been reviewed, modified and tested in light of the evolving Coronavirus threat. Depending on UK government guidelines, we are confident it will ensure the continuation of our public weather forecasting web site.

Our forecasters are now working remotely from home until further notice. The Essex Weather Centre continues to operate as usual, albeit with extra safety precautions having been implemented.

We have significant investments in our technology, software and infrastructure to ensure we can continue to operate our popular web site and keep the public of Essex informed via social media platforms in a variety of unexpected circumstances.
